FYI, there is a short gap in the audio at ~39 minutes in the episode, when talking about the Ali-Nyarlathotep boxing match
We have left out that which Nyarlathotep does not want you to know.
A mission proposal for Ken’s Time Machine. How would Ken and Time Inc. unify China after the Xinhai Revolution so that the Warlord Era never occurs?
This would be for the end goal that China is able to better organize themselves into a modern nation state before the Second Sino-Japanese War, which may occur much sooner in this alternate timeline.
Here’s an Ask Ken and Robin (perhaps for the Business of Gaming Hut):
I’m a minor D-lister in the industry, with a dozen or so credits as editor and spot writer (mostly the former) and a single major publication with a lower-tier but recognizable publisher.
How do I approach publishers with whom I’d like to work but don’t already have a professional relationship? So much of the industry is word of mouth and who knows who. How do I for all intents and purposes cold call publishers in the hope that I can rustle up work with desired product lines or individuals?
A Ken’s Time Machine conundrum:
What does the course of World War II look like with a non-assassinated Huey Long (perhaps a Huey Long who survived Carl Weiss’ assassination attempt) as President?
Seriously, somebody needs to sell nerd trope cards.
